Do you prefer boxers or briefs, do you believe in aliens, does pineapples belong on a pizza... Watertown Savings Bank would never ask you such random questions. We would also never ask for your SSN, account number, debit card number, to log into online banking to perform any transactions, for your password and username, or anything else related to confidential information. We wouldn't call you, email you, or text you asking any such questions.
But beware, some scammers may impersonate the Bank and your caller ID may even showcase our name or number. Ignore those calls or hang up and call us to inquire whether it was in fact us that had called you. Some scammers may send you emails that could appear like they're coming from a legitimate organization or shop, but beware of misspellings, grammatical errors, and email addresses that aren't in fact from the organizations claiming to be behind the email. You might receive text messages that prompt you to click on links to verify your account, to check on a supposed delivery, or to ask for a PIN. Ignore these messages. No legitimate organization would text you to ask for any confidential information.
